In this tour you will explore the frozen world of Sólheimajökull glacier where you will see for yourself crevasses, glacier sinkholes, and ice ridges during an easy glacier walk. Crampons and training provided on site.

You will have to dress extremely well, preferably in waterproof and warm clothing, a hat, gloves, good walking shoes and wear thick socks. Glacier walk does not require any special skills and can be enjoyed by people with normal fitness and in good health.

This tour is a combination with the Beautiful South coast tour. While you are doing the glacier walk the others in the group will visit Vík village, Dýrhólaey sea cliffs and Reynisfjara beach.

This tour is weather dependent, cancellations apply if weather forecast looks bad.
